We stayed here back in September and upon arrival it didn't really look at all like an Embassy suites. Very dated. We should have known something was up when they made us sign a form saying we will not be too loud or let our kids run round the halls. As the evening went on I can see why. There were very loud parties going on in other rooms. A large fight broke out in the pool and it had to be evacuated and closed for the evening. 4 police cars were called to restore order. We really didn't feel very safe. The next morning the staff told us they weren't allowed to talk about the incident, which seems to be a not uncommon theme when looking at past reviews. The rooms themselves were unimpressive and certainly overpriced. We will not go back and cannot recommend this place.

Though a little dated and the suites could use a minor revamp. . . I love this hotel. . . It's close enough and far enough to and from home to feel like I'm actually away on a one day or weekend vacation...lol. I love the lobby of this place. It almost has an exotic feel to it.

There is an indoor pool (the reason for our stays), breakfast bar included with a cook to make things on requests, a free complimentary drink from the bar and a few other conveniences. . . I would totally recommend this hotel.

I find this behavior very unacceptable. I am a child of a loving family and I cannot just stand by this rudeness. I see other families being treated kindly but I believe just because we are Muslims, we are being treated unfairly. The manager himself even threatened us that he would call the police if we didn’t act cooperatively. The staffs, for the most part, were kind. But it just doesn’t suffice if one of the staffs literally, and I quote, “Tell your ugly friends to stop running and stop being loud”. This staff told my associate Omar this statement in full confidence. We stopped running and being loud but we couldn’t just sit back and relax while a staff just insulted us with unacceptable words. Not only that, but the same staff followed us and watched us after that. Now that drew the line and we had to step in. My adult brother and adult friend talked down to him and we had full reasons to do so. He walked away, ignoring us. We did believe later on that that same staff member apologized for his rash words and actions. We just stopped thinking about the matter but we were very wrong if we ever thought that this conflict was over. The manager came at us, asking where our parents were. We responded peacefully stating that our parents were over right by us. A couple of minutes later, the manager threatened us that he would call the police. Our fathers stepped in into the matter and told the manager what’s up, defending their own children of course.

Hotel is was easy to access right off of Rt 287. Ample amount of parking. Once I got inside it was not anything I've seen from other hotels. Certainly unique and almost mall like. Breakfast was served and available for guests. Definitely get the made to order breakfast. The employees we encountered were friendly I would definitely come back.

Problem Hotel

Overall, a pretty nice stay. One major complaint I have is that our nonsmoking room reeked of cigarette smell. Other than that, the room was nice. A few minor fixes needed but nothing big. There is a parking fee which I thought was a little odd. Hotel itself was beautiful and reasonably priced and breakfast was fantastic. Omelette station was wonderful. Probably one of the best omelettes I’ve ever had.
